I am directed to refer to your letter No. SO(Estab)/LG/1-2/2025 dated 08.10.2026 on the subject noted above, whereby the information regarding officers of BS-17 to BS-19 has been demanded for appointment as District Returning Officers, Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers for the conduct of Local Government Elections.
2. I am further directed to state that officers of BS-17 to BS-19 working in this Department are on the cadre strength of S&GAD and no officer of this Department is presently posted in the field formations. Hence, the information required by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), to the extent of the Local Government and Community Development Department, is NIL.
