The Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA) has officially released the registration schedule and guidelines for the Grade 5 Annual Assessment 2026-27. According to the official notification dated June 10, 2026 (Notification No. A&E/246/2026), all public schools across Punjab are directed to register their students using the online Item Bank System (IBS) portal.
Heads of institutions must complete this mandatory enrollment process within the stipulated timeline using their official school login credentials on the IBS platform.

As per the official notification issued by the Director of Assessment & Examination, PECTAA, the authority has outlined stringent guidelines for data verification:
- Date of Birth (D.O.B) Verification: Heads of institutions must ensure that the student’s Date of Birth entered into the Online Enrollment Form perfectly matches the school’s official records. Any subsequent discrepancy will be the sole responsibility of the school head.
- Age Correction Requests: Any requests regarding age corrections shall be processed strictly in accordance with the rules and regulations of PECTAA.
- Photograph Requirements: Institutions must upload a recent passport-size photograph of the candidates with a white background.
